Which brings this topic full circle back to Hellstorm. They have alot in common with STB.
What can I say Hellstorm is a bunch of scrubs. Ohhh we're afraid to CB but we're really good in pubs... they're the new warriors of dust. Just saying if you run into hellstorm put your lol hats on and prepare to redline them
Our Policy concerning Corporation battles in the vast world of New Eden.
The corporation battles of New Eden are much like the duels that occurred on earth. Those were typically based on a code of honor. Duels were fought not so much to kill the opponent as to gain "satisfaction," that is, to restore one's honor by demonstrating a willingness to risk one's life for it, and as such the tradition of dueling was originally reserved for the members of nobility; however, in the modern era it extended to those of the upper classes.
Thus we will carry ourselves like those above mentioned nobles, for in order for us to accept one's challenge we must be sure our opponent is worthy enough to issue said challenge. Validity of the challenge will be based on criteria voted on by the DJINN:
(The Djinn are the governing leadership of Hellstorm)
Is the corporation recognized by the dust community as being legitimate?
(Corps that have no real game presence will not be considered legitimate, those in an alliance must have the approval of their alliance leader for that who they will be representing in the battle)
Does the corporation leadership set a standard of excellence for their corporation?
Do they prevent their members from destroying the dust community with malicious trolling, forum gibberish, harassment of players out of the game or when on the same team?
Is the challenge sent in the form of a polite in game mail, and does the challenge refrain from name calling, obscenities, and malicious character attacks?
(The challenge must be issued in the context of the game rather then a personal grudge against one person.)
Is the corporation likely to involve themselves in persistent harassment if they win or lose?
( Much like a duel, when it was won or lost it was considered over and the grudge was satisfied. We will not accept challenges from corporations that start with name calling or player harassment, for if they are the type to start a duel in that matter they will continue those actions whether they win or lose.)
If the Djinn vote that the Corporation issuing the challenge is Honorable we will then discuss a time with opposition to set up the duel.
Expect a 1 week period for the vote to close. After the vote has closed a 2 day time period will be used to set up times.
We must adhere to these standards to keep the game we love from falling into the hands of players who seek to remove the importance of character building and name reputation. You can call us Eve loyalists or troll us if you desire. But in the end these are our views and they will not change. Reputation is everything and the value of character must be maintained. I look forward to battles from all those that seek to make this a great game and from those corporation CEOS that quell their desire for expansion in order to prevent it from interfering with their ideals!
Yes this means we don't communicate or even consider Imperfects part of the "real Dust community, even though they have a lot of skill in game it is over shadowed by their lack of character.
